What is Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy (OT) is the use of assessments and interventions that focus on helping children develop skills in their main areas of life: self-care, school and play.
Intervention uses purposeful activities, strategies and accommodations aimed at improving the child’s overall level of independence. OT supports children with various needs by improving their physical, psychological, social, sensory awareness and motor function. It also enhances their self esteem, social skills and general well being.
